Huh. The download button plays it at normal speed, but the preview bar does not. posted by interrobang at 9:09 AM on

I'm trying to imagine how it would sound slowed down a bit, and my imagination likes it. posted by carsonb at 9:10 AM on

Try the little "disk" button, carsonb; it seems to work. posted by interrobang at 9:13 AM on

Huh. Well, it claims that it's a 32K file, and yet doesn't sound like complete ass, so I'm guessing there's something bad in the meta information on the mp3. posted by cortex at 10:00 AM on

I bet matt's flash player assumes a certain bitrate that the MP3 is below. A lot of players have weird problems when dealing with mp3s below 128kbs. Listening to lectures recorded at 32kbs sound pretty much like what's happening here. posted by boo_radley at 10:09 AM on

This is amazing at the fast speed. I'm sampling it for my next Famicom title. posted by rocketman at 12:57 PM on

I like it fast too - the change in frequency makes the bass line way too loud and that makes me laugh for many reasons. If that famicom title is made I wanna see it! posted by mouthnoize at 6:25 AM on
