Drew Carey Ruined The Price Is Right

I've pinpointed the reason our economy is in shambles. It wasn't the subprime mortgage crisis. It wasn't Bernie Madoff. It wasn't even the president. The moment our global economy collapsed was when Bob Barker retired as game show host.

This track is also being submitted as part of our RPM 2009 album.

My copy of this is really scratchy, though. Could you upload a CD version?
Also, I was never much of a Drew Carey fan but I kind of like him on TPIR. I can't imagine anyone else doing it without being all smarmy and phoney.

I don't really agree with the premise of the song but this was pretty good (I was a fan of the Drew Carey show and he did a pretty good job on Who's line but that's besides the point). I agree with Choco, it was really scratchy but still the song shined through. Nice mouth trumpet?

Really? I thought that was intentional--added on to give it an old record crackly feel you hear on creepy barber shop versions of "dem bones" and stuff.

Sorry, the only copy I have of this recording was on a dusty old 78 I ran across in my attic. I threw it on my old grammophone, pointed a desktop mic at the horn and, voilà! A vintage recording that references an event that happened in 2007. Hrm.

FULL DISCLOSURE: due to imperfections in the source audio and limited timeframe, we decided the best way to compensate was simulated vinyl. So yeah, this is the CD version.
