Man, this is giving me flash backs. It sounds like a scene from a Cheech and Chong movie in which they go to Strawberry's house and a record is skipping. Totally surreal and a little disturbing.

And isn't Diana Deutsch great? Hadn't thought about her in a long time, thanks for the reminder! posted by flapjax at midnite at 7:11 PM on

Oh man, you're back posting. We definitely need more songs from you. This one's pretty cool and I had never heard of Diana Deutsch. I heard one and the others look very interesting, but I can't get the philomel.com links to work, do they work fine for everyone else? posted by micayetoca at 5:42 AM on

hmm, they work here, of course, so I'm not sure what's up. Here's a youtube vid of some kids hearing one of the experiments and here's the radiolab episode where they interview her.
and thanks for the kind words, micayetoca. posted by sleepy pete at 1:37 PM on

As this gets fuller and fuller, it becomes rather hypnotic. Interesting stuff. I like the idea of building whole songs out of these kinds of snippets. posted by edlundart at 10:00 PM on
