Long Time Coming

Kind of a change for Red On Strike, heavy on the bass/drum groove. I wrote this song for RPM 2007, and I really like the way we adapted it for the band.

Very interesting to listen to the before and after. i like the intro a lot, it makes the main theme a little more off-putting, with the transistion setting a darker tone that suits the song. From what I've heard of your other submissions here, this is definitely a different direction for your band stylistically, but the performance is spot on and it never lets up or cracks under its own weight.

Thanks-- we've been having a lot of fun over the last couple years playing with songs outside our standard guitar driven approach. I'll post one later this week called One For The Road with another cool bassline, but happy instead of dark.
