Climbing Up the Walls

Only three tracks left until we've finally finished the full album of OK Computer. The idea here is pretty simple--since we've made basically every other track super creepy, it was time to make the creepiest track on the album something completely different. Presenting rock and/or roll.

It's nice to do this style with proper equipment and people who can all play their respective instruments. This also gave me a chance to work way outside my comfort zone, mixing "normal" music. I've not really worked in that realm since my recording technique classes in college. Turns out, it's really easy to overthink it, so sometimes I needed to be reminded of what are quite possibly the two most important words in all of rock history: "...fuck it."

Keep it simple, stupid.

INSTRUMENTATION:
Timbill Corder (me): Vox, Drums
Trey Beauregard (man vs sun): Tenor Sax
Kerry Folsom: Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Guitbass, Bass

Thanks! At some point, I'll probably spend more time "mixing" it to make it sound "cleaner" and whatnot, but I thought it sounded pretty well mixed for that '60s garage band feel right out of the box, with the slapback, the sax solo that comes out of left (channel) field, and the fade before 3 minutes.
