Inspired by the Adam Curtis documentary, recorded with a variety of gear and 'mastered' using LANDR.

Wow, there's a lot to like in this; it's so rich and intertwined I'm having cognitive trouble picking details out of it for comment. But the sound is thick and lush, the mix is heavy but potent. Meat, not mud. Performances are great. Multi-track guitar is prickling and foaming over the top. 7/8 sections are grabbing and engaging. Drums are kickin' and drivin' hard. Really enjoy the arrangement. Have to listen again for the lyrics, but it already feels like there's weight and maybe some vinegar in there too. I think I personally want the lead vox a little more forward or mixed louder (or a bit drier, even) to pop a bit more, but it is fully appropriate for the genre to have vox in the mix instead of on top of it. Awesome!

Thank you! Next time we record it I'll isolate the vox so they can be pulled forward a bit. There's more on the Sredni Vashtar soundcloud.
