A collaborative cover of the Julian Cope original, by me and not_on_display
This is kind of the return-shot from Mississippi River; something I started and abandoned and then sent over to my musical comrade here, who added bass, production bits, and an organ part which made me hoot with delight.
As our little team is 50% female we're also putting this in for the current music challenge!

I liked doing this a lot, I feel like I used the right background music so that it could accompany what was being sung, but so that it also didn't step on greenish's toes. Because really, it's her voice that people should and will be listening to out front there, and I was glad to contribute to the feel without detracting from her (really amazing) voice. We'll be collaborating on more stuff in the future, too -- and I'm honored, and having great fun seeing what transpires.
We should have a big scrape about band names now. :D

Dead chuffed about this collaboration! I can get behind anything that inspires greenish to pick up half-finished ideas/recordings and post them to MeMu. The organ is great; you are right to not cover up greenish's voice and the organ backs her up wonderfully.

Oh just yes. Every motion and choice it took to make this were 100% correct. Just a wash of bliss. Thank you both, you have greatly improved my day, and it was already pretty darn good.
