Planned for tomorrow morning. The secret thing I didn't mention to anybody while I was being frantic and productive with the compilation is that I am deeply lazy. posted by cortex at 10:42 PM on

you'd never know, ya know, what with all the pots you have simmering 'round these parts. I just figured you're spread a little thin. posted by carsonb at 10:47 PM on

Still? Is there a history I don't know about that?

Yeah, I wrote about it on my blog a couple years ago, about how much I liked this song and thought it would be a big popular hit, and two years later, I still enjoy it when it comes up in my random mp3 playing. posted by mathowie at 1:24 AM on

Yea... which is what I tried to point out with my "Frenetic Sucks" comment, which has since been deleted. Funny, since my comment in the other frenetic thread was certainly complimentary. posted by Witty at 10:44 AM on

Great track. Nice simple production but everything really lives in just the right spot in the mix.
And yes, definitely Folk Implosion-esque, but the vocals remind me slightly of Beck. posted by chimaera at 7:22 PM on

Ynoxas: it's actually just a mic stuck almost inside my computer, so it's the fan as well as the hard drive. posted by frenetic at 11:55 PM on

I have to say that this song, more than any other, is stuck in my head nonstop. Am I the only one? This song cures cancer, and is the only song that can destroy evil Chuck Norris. posted by crazyray at 8:52 PM on

This is ridiculous. I don't even like electronica that much. But since listening to this a few nights ago, I've had it stuck in my head. Constantly. The point where it was annoying.
Seriously though, awesome song. <3 posted by Phire at 11:17 PM on

When I think of MeFi Music, this is one of the songs that I think of first. This has become, for me, one of the iconic MeFi Muse songs. When I tell a friend what MeFi Muse is like, and I wanna give them a taste? I come here. I keep coming back to it. Is that a sign of longevity? I mean there is so much good stuff in MeFi Muse, but if I wanna show a friend this project, this song is like putting the best foot forward, y'know?
Of course this is how I feel now. My opinion could change before next Tuesday. LOL posted by ZachsMind at 5:15 PM on

Just heard this song on Pandora listening to a Dandy Warhols channel of all things and did a sort of double-take. I had to go verify that I'd heard it on Metafilter first. Great song and apparently it has legs! posted by Bugg at 7:26 AM on
