The last song from my new record, "Beauty, Grazing at the Trough". Since I completed it last December, I've been posting a song per week, and this is the last one. It's also the last song on the record. After some aggressive, loud, dense songs (some of which are not particularly chipper), I wanted to end things more simply. So this song is acoustic-guitar driven and uses only hand-percussion (including some triangle that I reversed in one spot, to cool effect, if I do say so myself). I also borrowed a friend's Gretsch for the electric guitar parts. Final word goes to a harmonica solo over some pretty arpeggios. Site, myspace.

Hey. It was really cool that you posted your whole album here. Both for the gesture and the music. Very good luck with it and hopefully you'll be posting more songs as you record them!

Beautiful. I didn't know if I was gonna dig harmonica but that was perfect. Hand-percussion? Hell ya, sweet song.

Very nice, FOF. And remember, there's never enough reverse triangle. Needs more reverse triangle! Your voice here is really reminding me of early Declan McManus. And your chord changes are very tasty, as usual.

Does anyone else hear Elvis Costello, or is it just me?
Very good. You've shown incredible generosity in sharing so much of your music with us.
I just bought your CD.

Ha! Gotcha, Ynoxas! It ain't just you. See above comment referencing Declan McManus.

OMG flapjax, I'm embarrassed to say I did not know E.C.'s real name. Well, I'm not sure if "know" is the right word, as I'm confident I've come across it sometime in the last 20 years but I'm absolutely sure I didn't retain that knowledge.
Thanks for teaching me something today!
But, good to know the ears are working right.
