Stare Into My Drifting Eyes

A tribute to all those other big psychedelic trance guys who consume vast, impressive quantities of mind-altering drugs and yet manage live through it, sanity intact, to relate their experiences through their music.

Close Your Eyes

This is a demo that my friend James Burnham and I co-wrote and co-produced last month in Cubase. The harmonies fall apart a little in the end, but I thought it was worth posting. We'll probably re-mix it soon. I'm singing; James programmed. - Tyler Massey

Waziah

My band, The Dukes of Simpleton had our gig cancelled at the last minute yesterday, due to high winds and cold weather, so I came home in a funk, and wrote this little ditty as a means of taking advantage of the moment, and getting out of my mood. Waziah is the Lakota spirit of the north, that brings the purifying winds of winter. The bass drum is a heart in suspended animation. My electric bass is the wind blowing over it.

Before It Dies

Here is a "Mahayana Jazz" track with some tasty drums. I hope you find this delicious and remember to get away from that tree before it dies.

Ever So Lonely Eyes by Sheila Chandra (Tragic Tech ReMix)

My teenage brother's trance remix of Indian alternative-pop superstar Sheila Chandra's haunting lyrics to "Ever So Lonely Eyes." Done, of course, for fun and without permission and with no rights assumed. Of all his little projects, this is my favorite.

808 Guilty Spark

Halo inspired trance for your Saturday night dance party. I started this one three years ago and finally finished it this afternoon. I don't write for this genre very often, so let me know what you think!

Convergence 01

Composed, recorded, produced and mastered by me and a group of peers at a Junior conservatoire a few years ago. A few pointers - the vocalist was instructed to "Speak to God" (but not in a religious way), and the title comes from the feeling that the whole track is moving towards something. Violin = Lotto! (Yep I play two instruments)
