warm day

There was a man with tongue of wood
Who essayed to sing,
And in truth it was lamentable.
But there was one who heard
The clip-clapper of this tongue of wood
And knew what the man
Wished to sing,
And with that the singer was content.

Oh well, I spent all evening finishing this up and then I uploaded yesterdays old and busted version. :(

The new hotness is here, fwiw :(

That poem is great. I enjoyed the song (both versions), nice work.

I just had a really nice thing happen where I opened the link to the new version while the version on this page was still playing, and there was about a 10 second delay but it synced up perfectly and sounded pretty cool...a bit of echo and the piano part sort of repeating subtley on itself. Thought I'd share.

This is probably not the kind of feedback you're looking for, but I was listening to this on my computer and the song "Still" by the Foo Fighters came on a stereo in the other room. They are in the same key and have a similar mood - it was a little eerie actually.

Enjoyed the song.
