A jokey, sloppy kind of thing recorded in 2005 for a web project that never got off the ground. As in many of my songs, I seem to be suffering from some type of sinus issue here. Perhaps the flipside of buriednexttoyou's awesome Arboretum from last year, this song tries to be positive about the milestones, the things you can do once nineteen, in Ontario, Canada. Yes, I know the Paul Hardcastle tune. why am I posting this?

Oh, man, I'm jealous, I wish I could have done half that stuff when I was 19. Clearly I should have moved to Canada.

Great tune, I love the dissonance when you say "19," it gives the song a nice bittersweet feeling.

Ha, "your choice", I like that part a lot. I remember when the freedom to make my own choices was mostly exhilarating and not mostly paralyzing.

Funny side note: after listening to it I played it for my girlfriend and she asked: is his daughter nineteen already?

chococat, there are many compliments I could give for this song, but my inner 19 year old would sum it up like this; You could sing about stepping in gooey dog poop and make it a beautiful thing.
