Taking a stroll somewhere in France. Sonic snapshots : Purchasing food. Driving. Walking in the street. Listening quietly. Playing the guitar.

Lovely. I'm surprised by how consistently impressed I am with these more "field musicky" efforts. Anyone else? I like to listen to them while I'm walking around Manchester and they seem to transport me even more than "normal" tunes.

Lovely, yeah. This is my new favorite of the ones you've posted.
In the same "genre" of sonic snapshots there is an album you might like: See it in Sound by Esquivel. It was recorded in the 1960s but not released until 1998 because the record company deemed it "too extravagant." Go figure.
Anyway, really cool piece, nicolin.

Hearing that sweet French lady's voice makes me feel like I'm eavesdropping. Very sweet piece nicolin.

This post is closer to my previous real book post than to anything else I've uploaded. At some point, you can hear some neighbour playing the Graile, which is a folkish Oboe (it is looped in this recording) from southern France.
