Threnody

Boisterous, jangly, synthy indie/ post-punk from The Ghost of Mankind. This is a rehearsal recording with a couple of cringe-inducing moments. This track, along with the previous two (1, 2), comprise an unreleased three-song EP tentatively titled Elegiac, almost recorded in summer 2003.

It's funny how the first few notes are just all happy and stuff, and then you get hit by a train. Yea, I'm a fan of yours. This stuff rocks but still has that depth and intelligent feel. If I was on that coast I'd check out your shows.

Thanks snsranch! You rock.

For better or worse, the band broke up in late 2003. But the memory lives on via stickers on the sides of toilets in various bar bathrooms throughout the five boroughs.
