Bit by a Snake

When Uncle J and I heard the new challenge theme was "snake", we both immediately thought of an old goof song of ours from years ago. We decided it deserved to be rerecorded...

It's about 50 minutes past the deadline locally, but I figure it's still July 20th somewhere. This new version of the song was recorded in two sessions over the past two weeks. It lacks some of the lo-fi charm and spontaneity of the original, but it has significantly more guitar overdubs. The words were made up on the spot; apparently snakes were considered funny at the time. Uncle J plays bass and backup sing.

Thanks. I am a lot more pleased with some new things we figured out production-wise than the song itself. The extra guitar parts were kind of just thrown in there because we felt it needed something, but I don't think we spent enough time to make them really fit. We learned some stuff, though, and it does seem to rock on at least a few levels, so that's pretty good for us.
