Here We Go Again
August 21, 2007 11:41 AM
Ever had that feeling when you wake up, that today seems just like yesterday? And as the day goes on, you just confirm that it is just like yesterday? And as the week goes on you realize that it is always the "Same Shit Different Day" routine?
Well this is my version of that same feeling but said with a different twist. "HERE WE GO AGAIN"
This version is ruff and unfinished but I wanted you to hear it anyway. I hope that you enjoy it.

Hey man, this is some really great guitar playing. A really nice crisp recording too. Hopefully you have some lyrics in mind to go with it.
What kind of guitars are you playing? Is the one you're using for slide a resonator? I've been thinkin' about getting one or trying one out. My only acoustic is a dreadnought, and it's not much fun for picking.

Hey snsranch,
I play all my guitar parts with my JPB-ea85 acoustic/electric it is a dreadnought with a cutaway. I just use post Eq. to make them sound different. I think on this song I am using two tracks at a time for the each guitar part, one recorded with a direct box
and the other with a mic at the same time. This leaves it wide open for an array of mixing possibilities.
Thanks for showing the love in Kentucky

Man, that's sweet. Crisp is a good word; great, clean slide work. I pick up a slide and it's a mess every time.
