A song of loneliness and betrayal - sounds fun, right?

This is a demo of a song I wrote last week. The band wants to do some slower, more melodic stuff, so I'm trying to see if I can step beyond the punk stuff I normally write.

Are you thinking about kicking this up to a rock-ballady thing? I'm just thinking how I'd approach this song in a band situation. Anyway, this is a good demo. Can I be in your band? Hee hee.

That's the plan. I'm thinking it stays pretty much guitar and vocals in the first verse, starts to build up the bass and drums in the second and into the chorus, then finishes strong with the more defiant third verse.

But it will be interesting to see what ideas the rest of the band brings, see how it evolves. I really want to give Yvonne a chance to shine on this one, so whatever supports her vocals best.

We're full at the moment, but side projects are always possible...
