Mario in the Bario
January 3, 2008 2:45 AM
An online collaboration between myself and a mate who lives in California, and goes by the name DJ Hi-Speed.
Backbeat and tune is from Mario (of course), produced by me, and the scratching vocals are Hi-Speed's.

I don't mean this like it may sound, but my kids are gonna love this. Nice work teloki, as always, rocking out my morning sludge-head.

Sorry, Mario, but the princess is in another castle!
And this tune is now on my iPhone.

My head is bobbing like one of those little dogs with its head on a spring that you used to see in the back windows of automobiles. I love scratching, too.

Once upon a time, a friend of mine worked out the original Mario theme and we recorded to a MIDI track, and when I got bored, I'd rework it; by the end, there was a standard version, a blues version (in a minor key), a polka version, an Imperial March version, an electronic version, and a couple others. This reminds me of those, but this is cooler. Thank you.
