Livin' In Your Side

This group I was in is no more because the piano player/singer moved to NY. We were Tim Cluff and the Parnassum Mountain Boys. I play trombone on this track, my current roommate Nick is playing djembe, and Tim is on the piano and vocals.

Interesting style! The trombone parts are fun. Kind of an unusual instrument combo. The piano chords remind me of a song but I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's just that this is a catchy tune. Well done.

Slide whistles make me want to throw up, but I really like the rest of this. I imagine you three dressed in candy-stripe suits and seen through a fish-eye lens.

Holy crap. I know you. (I saw "Tim Cluff" and thought "wait... couldn't be...") Remember? That guy who played piano? With Brett Esaki? Senior when you were a freshman? At St. John's?

Anyway, I married Nicola Podboy. We live in Denver now. Small world.

This song is great.

wow. That IS crazy koeselitz. It's me, what up. I will post more right now, we have a whole album called drunk canvas singing. Unfortunately after we had recorded the album I started playing bass when there was no trombone, so there are no recordings of our final sound. But, sweet!, do you know any other St. John's folks on metafilter?

There was another guy named Ethereal Bligh, but he left. He graduated in the 90's anyhow. Also, anna salomon was here a while ago, I think.
