I recently unearthed my 4-track tapes from 1993. (I'm still searching for the ones from 1988.) This was one of my favorites on this particular tape. Guitar by me, AM Radio via the electromagnetic spectrum. It was recorded and mixed in less than an hour. I'll throw in the tape hiss for free.

I'm digitizing them one song at a time.
- L & R stereo lines out from an old Kenwood receiver/cassette/cd unit (with a flashy LCD screen that is SO annoying!),
- then those lines connect to a little radio shack adapter that converts the left and right cables to a single 1/8" stereo plug,
- which goes to the sound card "line in" jack.
I'm using Audacity to capture the sound when I hit play.
I have no idea how lo-fi this setup is, I'm just glad that I'm finally storing these things off-tape. Thanks!

How did you digitize the tapes?
