A New Year

March 10, 2008 12:58 AM

Today's forecast calls for a wintry mix of snow and melancholy.

This is the fourth track from my new album "Save You From Yourself," which was released a few weeks back. The original demo and album can be found on my website, which is in my Mefi profile.

This song came to me as we were experiencing a rare snowfall in Seattle (although not as rare anymore; we've had a few each winter ever since), and it got me thinking about the quiet moments in the early morning, when it's still dark out and you're warming up your car, mulling over your life choices.

I really dig the harmonies here, and the shimmery tremolo guitar. Nice groove.

Hey, just wanted to say I really like this. I'll have to look into your other stuff. Thanks.
