Fever Dream

A song written and recorded today in one go. Can you guess what it's about?

Myself playing rhodes, acoustic guitar, bass, programmed drums, singing, and a subpar electric guitar solo. It's not an especially happy song but I hope you enjoy.

I'm going to guess that it's about a chick. The volume's a little low (just playing it from the embedded player) so it's hard to be sure.

I really like the chorus. The guitar solo fits nicely. Nice overall mood.

very nice. the electric piano is great. great chorus and a nice color.

i must say that I don't like the solo tho. your playing is fine, but it's too epic soudning for such a mellow, plodding song. The song pretty much feels like a wistful walk thru a light drizzle on an overcast spring day. The solo is doing 90 thru the city at midnight during a lightning storm. I'd cut the distortion down a bit (more of a full sound, than a jagged one)and maybe go for something a bit more restrained and bluesy. but that's me.

ps your voice reminds me very pleasantly of this guy.

This is really nice, thanks for posting it. I do agree wtih es_de_bah about the solo; I would tone it down, for sure.

By the way, I WISH I could play Place to Be. That's a really excellent cover.
