A song about a time in my life when I hit a cross road. I happy to report I still have my soul as it wasnt ever for sale.

Catchy! If your voice was deeper, maybe this could pass Johnny Cash. :-)

I thought you made pretty good use of repetitive lyrics, which can be hard to pull off. I also enjoyed the brief touches of non-melodic singing to spice things up.

I think the delivery sounds more like Lou Reed (who I like a lot). The drums feel like they are not quite matching up with everything else to me, but I kind of don't mind it - with all the crisscrossing in the guitars it creates a hectic, about to fall over sort of feel which is sort of appealing.

I agree with the other commenters -- there is something about your vocal delivery here that communicates a sense of authority and confidence. I like the reverb on it too. The beat is a tad shaky and the hihat in particular is repetetive in a detrimental way. Interesting track though, I enjoyed listening.
