Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

I recorded this version of the old Christmas standard with the original, depressing-as-hell lyrics. Check out this FPP for the backstory.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
it may be your last
Next year we may all be living in the past
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
make the Yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away
No good times as in olden days
happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
will be near to us no more
Some day soon we all will be together
if the fates allow
Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
it may be your last
Next year we may all be living in the past
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
make the Yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away
No good times as in olden days
happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
will be near to us no more
Some day soon we all will be together
if the fates allow
Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Wow, those lyrics are brutal. Nicely performed, however!
I might have to try this out on my family when I see them next week...

I've been hoping people would eventually move back towards the original, better lyrics.
This is great.

This is great, not only because it introduced me to a great FPP and taught me something I didn't know, but also because the song is just plain great. I think I prefer this version to the sappy rewrites. Well done ludwig_van!
