Groove for Tomatoes (A Prayer)

May 26, 2009 10:34 PM

A sequel, of sorts.

Pheatherwäit was browsing through a book of Pagan prayers during some down time between tracks, and stumbled upon one about Tomatoes. I don't really know why, but we were in the middle of a groove, and it just felt right.

Instrumentation:

Timbill (me): Looped Vocals, Soundboard, Greek Finger Drum, Claps, Theremin, Trumpet
Tréteque (man vs sun): Guïro, Guimbarde, Egg Shaker, Baritone Saxophone
Pheatherwäit (Pheatherwait): Lead Vocals, Piccolo

This is like Dokaka meets Bobby McFerrin on acid. I liked the brass and wind section at the end. It's all silly but interesting at the same time.
