"To the flood and the drought; to pride and loneliness -- God's many tools to make us pray for what kills us." --Scott Miller

OK, it's Friday night, I've had a cocktail, and I get an e-mail saying this ten-year-old recording is "superb". You know what that means: drunk-posting!

Seriously, this is a great song (originally by The Loud Family), and I hope Jenine and I did a creditable version of it, even though I made her sing in my key. The original is rock, not a cappella.

It's as close as I'm going to get to "Hallelujah" this month...

I love this for reasons I can't quite identify. Something about multi-tracking and exposing the natural harmony of the human voice. The echoes are also incredibly well placed. Well done.

Wow, I love this. It really strikes a balance that is necessary for a cappella, it is serious but also somehow light-hearted. Very well done!
