Forget Regret

song about drugs & cops &tc

This was originally conceptualized, slightly, as an anti-drug war song. Then right in the midst of that space between writing and recording White House Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske said that the nomenclature "war on drugs" would be dropped. I thought this was a positive, albeit superficial, step.

This song was written and recorded by Clark 8 and will appear on our forever in progress album, "Snooze."

Love the burbly guitar here -- would not have been out of place on Boston's Alternative WFNX in 1991 and I mean that as a good thing.

Thanks! Alternative/Modern Rock radio formats undoubtably influenced me to no end. This comes off as one of our more raw songs, I almost don't like the vox in the screamy part but I've convinced myself to just leave them in.
