Say When

Just in time for the first day of Autumn, here's a fuzzy, sunny love song that I made for you. Give it a listen and hang on to that Summer feeling for another two-and-a-quarter minutes.
The Autoharp has masking tape across the strings. The drum machine is the "hip hop" StreetBoxx. I think all the keys are the Alesis Micron, except for the piano, which is a piano. My wife supplies the oohs and uh-huhs.

That's really cool. I love the bounce. And the autoharp sounds awesome, as always. I like.

Great bridge, Karlos. Very catchy song. I love the different textures throughout.

That chorus will stick in my head all day. That's a really sweet ending, the way the bridge really naturally brings it together. Sweet.

I just realized I didn't actually left any comments on this song when I favorited it.
The background vocals by your wife are a hit. The glassy-thereminesque sound is a great binding element and the tururu tu tururu tu tururu tu keyboard that provides the accompaniment during the verse gives it a great rhythm. The melody shows your usual knack for good, catchy melodies and the middle 8 is impeccable. I know my comment is starting to feel like a magazine review, but I didn't want to just leave a "coo,l, good song" comment. I really liked the song. I'm glad to see you are posting originals again
(not that I have anything against your covers, just that I remember you mentioned covers were getting in the way of your originals)

I shouldn't even look your way according to everything my so-called friends say
They say that you're not worth a dime and I shouldn't give you the time of day
But I can't help it anymore: I'm entertaining thoughts I never would have before
Standing on your welcome mat, heart in my hands, knock at your door
You say "what?" I say "when?"
You say "now," I say "where do I begin?"
Tell you what, I'll just start; when I hit the spot, you say when
Lying here and wondering: if they knew, what would my friends be thinking?
Should I not hold my breath? Should I throw away everything?
I say "stop," you say "go"
I say "but --" you say "no one will have to know."
Tell you what, we'll go 'round again, when it’s good enough you say when
But I don't want to play the fool anymore
I don't care what they think is cool anymore
I'm not afraid of the deep end of the pool
And if you say "stop," I'll say "go"
I want everyone I know to know that you and I
were right all along and everyone else is wrong
You say, "what?" I say, "when is the soonest can begin again?"
Let's go out and I'll make amends and when I've made enough
You say when
