Sauvie Island

A short, two chord song that is a true story.

We went to Sauvie Island with the Highland Cattle, and we burned one of them and ate him with friends.

Thanks to sleepy pete for some editing!

Is that a siren at the beginning? This is pretty awesome, although I would tag it "scary," if I were you. The effect of the whistling and the thumping and the sort of droning vocals is a little unsettling. Which is a good thing.

Heh, I hadn't thought of the song as unsettling, but I can kinda see it now. It's been so long since I submitted a challenge song, maybe I should just do it to make up.

Thanks for listening!

Reminds me of earl stuff from the Microphones. Dig it.

The Microphones! Did you happen to stumble upon my cover of "Headless Horseman"?

uncleozzy, I forgot to say that is indeed an accidental genuine Portland siren at the beginning. For some reason I thought that city had extra eerie sirens.
