Killing All My Friends

Love song meets murder ballad.

In keeping with the spate of murder ballads here, this started off as an exercise in finding out what would happen if I tried to write a song for a James Bond flick. The idea was simple: "I love you this much".

So it didn't end up as anything as anthemic as a theme song, obviously. More suited as closing credits music or an over-the-top slow-motion montage.

Anyway, this is one of my favourite songs to play live. It's on Thanks To Science, We've Got Love. If you're interested, other tunes are available along with it on my site.

I came here from the third song you posted, so this is your second in a row I've heard. I realize now that you are a professional. That explains the production. It's amazing.

Don't get discouraged by the lack comments, it might take a while at the beginning, but it's a really nice place and you end up getting a lot of feedback and learning a lot from other people.

Thanks Mica! No, not discouraged - before I started posting I totally got the sense that it's a good community. Regardless of comments (or lack thereof), sharing for the sake of sharing is good and gets me out the house, so to speak. :)
