This is a new song from our band Thous and Thees.
It's still something that we're working on and are wondering if it needs changes. What do you think about repitition of lyrics? - Does it need more variation?
Recording quality is getting a bit better as we have some better microphones, but we're still working on getting a good live sound. This was recorded live round our kitchen table. My lyrics, me on Uke, Jamie singing and on Uke, Ella on Cello and Justin on Guitar. We have a few more songs, including slightly newer recordings of things posted here previously up on our bandcamp site if you're interested.
Opinions and critique welcomed.

I love the feel of this too, and the melody is wonderful. I think you're OK on the lyrics-- the repetitive part is also the hook of the song, and it works really well.

Geez, it's super clear the set up you guys have going right now has lots of potential. The ukulele/guitar combo has a nice ring and that voice is so memorable and classic sounding. I have really liked all your songs so far. I happen to really like repetition in lyrics, and this was awesome. Downloaded the album, thank you!

Thanks everyone. I'm glad that you liked it. It's really heartening to hear such positive things about our little labour of love - and all the more heartening from people whose music I really enjoy listening to on here.
We've just started to record a much tighter version of this song - we have a couple of microphones and are recording instruments separately and creating a slightly tighter and clearer sound quality. It should be finished by this evening. I'll put it up on the bandcamp soon. Maybe won't post the newer version here - it would seem too similar too soon perhaps.
So yes, thanks again. I'll post more soon.

The slightly off-mic kitchen table quality completely makes this recording. Well done.
