I Want You Back

Live recording from my school's Motown Cover project last autumn, of the classic tune by the Jackson Five. Enjoy!

Vocals by me, main backing vocals by my completely fabulous co-singer for the project, who just blows me away in every way. All instruments played by and sound mixed by students at my school (which isn't my school anymore, since I've passed all my exams...).

As you can probably tell, I'm not used to singing and dancing at the same time, but we had a real bitch of a choreography manager... Still, it was fun! :)

Barrels O' fun. Is there video of the dancing? I cannot imagine trying to dance while singing, damn.

Thanks to all of you. I HAVE video, but my video editing software has been acting buggy so I haven't got round to dividing them up yet. When I say dancing, it's no complex choreography or anything; just some steps side to side on the stage, but enough to leave you winded after a whole set.

I can't imagine trying to dance even while just concentrating on trying to dance, but that's neither here nor there.

This is a lot fun. And ditto on the exams.
