A bottom-heavy instrumental that's hopefully not too busy.
I'm trying to do Hometaping this year, and this is one of the songs I wrote for it. I did it mostly in NanoStudio then added some guitar and compression on the computer.

Yeah I love love love this until the heavy guitar comes in. The part it's playing is quite nice but it needs more flair, or to be mixed down, or something.
The big live drum sound is fantastic. How are you doing that?
Anyway, this is terrific stuff. I'd buy an album of this without thinking. So nice to hear this kind of thing without a bunch of obvious four-bar samples stacked up and faded in/out.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I wasn't sure how well the guitar part blended. I kind of lost perspective while trying to finish it in time, to be honest. I might mix it lower or add some reverb to give it some distance for the final mix in a couple of days.
The drums are just the default TRG-16 drum synth in NanoStudio. I did a little velocity tweaking on the fills and there's some reverb on it, but that's it.

I think you should shorten it a titch and lose the distorted guitar, or jazz it up.
