One For The Road - Long Live Rock (Live)

December 13, 2010 11:16 PM

The end of our set Saturday night, recorded from the crowd on my TASCAM DR-07. We opened up for East Bay Ray's new band The Killer Smiles, the band was pretty excited about it, and I think the energy really comes through.

There's a drop off in the sound towards the end because my buddy Doug can't be concerned with things like mic placement when he needs to dance.

One For The Road studio version, and The Who doing Long Live Rock in 1973.

Hell yea, bonus 2fer! You guys sound great and I love this recording. That tascam really does the job. It's a nice mix of the band being clear and the ambient audience noise. Next best thing to being there. Kick ass.

Thanks man - I'm really loving that little recorder, it's fantastic for practices and shows like this.
