Still The Same

Short but fairly epic for me.

We're still the same
I can't believe you still complain
Like rich and spoiled son
His father's work undone

If you feel no pain
How can you stoop to feign
Another lonely night
Another nightmare in the night?
Your night has just begun
Your site is blinded.

That's really cool how full this song is for how short it is. It really feels like this song is 5 minutes had a bridge and several chorus' even though it doesn't.

I'm a fan of this song - it's very lush and engaging, despite it's short length. It left me wanting you to flesh it out and make it longer, which is a GREAT.

Nicely done.

Those guitars sound great, this is neat. I think there were a few minor timing issues that kind of pulled me out of the feel here and there, though. Still, this is an awesome sound.

Time passing and caught for a fleeting moment. A kind of epiphany. That's my immediate impression here. The guitars reminds me of the quiet chiming of a clock in a calm, far-off place. And all done in an utterly bewitching, beguiling way. Great vocal too. I can't hear much wrong with this in terms of performance or production (and I have hypercritical ears). Length is perfect - leave 'em wanting more....

Impressive stuff tunewell. Be good to work with you on something one day - I really connect with stuff like this.

Yea, lush is a great word for this. Digging it very much!

Thanks for the comments, folks. I went through a serious Cocteau Twin period, which probably informed this style of song I write. It also reminds me of another group I love called Ida.
