Ableton Pause?

Midi-triggerable track pause in Ableton Live 8?

Just a quick question--is there a way in Ableton to stop a single track with a midi command, and then start it again later from the same place? Seems pretty straightforward, but I can't find anything like that so far (I'm just trying to pause a single track or a single scene, mind, not the arrangement as a whole). It's easy enough to stop a track, and then play from the start marker again...

BTW--is it ok for me to post this sort of very specific call for help things here? Or would it be preferable if I used Ask for this?

clarification: are you trying to stop a clip, or a track in the arrange window?

if it's a clip, i think you'd have to look at how the clip is triggered - i know there's a couple different options there, but not sure about how to stop and then resume from the same place.

anyway, your best bet is to try the ableton forums, i would think.
