What?

Y'know, I'm the sort that tends to attract those crazy people, the ones on the bus, as the sort to whom their life stories should be told. This song is about some of the things that go on in my brain whilst they are telling me said stories. I mean, every once in a while. Usually they're quite coherent. And, on occasion, I am that crazy person on the bus.

This song attempts some very strange and different things for me. And they don't go all that well. to me. But, oh well. Enjoy!

I guess the chorus is "What is it that you have seen?"

I like this. The production is straight up whacked—there's a lot that's wrong, technicially, with the actual recording—but I'm pretty sure you know that better than I do.

But there's a lot of promise, a lot of really good ideas. I've listened to it a few times and I can hear the track that this could be with some spit and some polish and carefully performed rerecording, and that track that I hear is a really great mini-epic. Something evocative of older Modest Mouse in the chorus, a kind of rasping desperate dynamic to it that I really like.

Ambitious notions rarely go well when you first try them out. I say keep running with it, because I really like the possibilities here.
