Public Transport - Fashion Explosion

A new poppier electronic track from my act Public Transport. I've been humming this tune to myself and refining it all week (couldn't get it out of my head!) and finally got to put it all together- happy dancing!

I know what you mean uncleozzy, there is an undertone of there. I love the aggressive bite of the synth melody as well: nice pull on it.
I think the solo (what ever on earth is making that sound) is totally awesome. Really nice riff, actually when it came on it gave me a ma-hoo-sive smile smacked across my lips. I mean if you do that to me: its got to be good right?
I would love to hear that kind of growly synth in the 8-bit[esque] style in a quicker song, I think if you up the bpm, this could be a really awesome head bobber with all of the pieces coming together well as they do (no crossed notes anywhere by the way, I like that a lot, everything is in tune), it's a nice chilled out ride as it is mind.
Nice sound dunkadunc :) Keep it up, do a faster one and let me know when I can hear it! I would happily have that on my ipod.

Oh, hey. It's my new favorite song.
If I could change just one thing, and I probably wouldn't because I love listening to this, its the drums. The drum sounds are kind of normal and ordinary next to the much-less-ordinairy synth sounds. You may want to play around with the sound design of your drums to better complement the work you clearly put into your synths.

Yeah, I've been doing some work remastering this track and generally making it sound richer. I intend to make this part of a poppier EP sometime when I've got enough material!

PS, I really like getting constructive feedback! A lot of the time it's just "wow, this is really good", which makes me happy but doesn't help me make things better.
