Gonna Have to Let You Down

Pantless snarky powerpop for the October challenge. Video proof.
I had a skeletal backing track for this knocking around so I decided to finish it today before I put my pants on. Pantless video is here.
A bit rough and ready as I didn't have time to tighten up the drums or do anything fancy with the mix, but you get the idea...

Not bad for a guy with no pants!
The key changes after the guitar solo have a cool 60s flavor, along with the organ. I dig it.

Cool!
I love the edit to the guitar solo footage.
As an aside, I am jealous of your studio space. It's literally the opposite of mine...I am in a dark, dark basement with 3 floors above me, I barely have room to stand up.
Sometimes we daydream about cashing in on our downtown T.O. house; looking on the MLS site makes us drool over what we could get for the money in a rural house.

That's what we did, Chococat. Never regretted it for a second. A few more friends of ours have recently done the same thing, moving up to the area between Collingwood and Owen Sound. If you can swing the work situation I wouldn't think twice about it. If you want to chat more about the practicalities, send me a memail.

Hey that was FUN! Well done! I love your workspace too. The camera placement makes it look like a chapel. Very cool.

Hah, sns, you think *that* end looks like a chapel, check this out.
if you poke around in the neighbouring pix on Flickr you can see the whole thing (during a brief interlude when it had just been tidied up!)
