A love song, of sorts, in repose.
Started out stylistically inspired by the Weakerthans' "Without Mythologies," but kind of turned into its own thing, mercifully, since I'm no John K. Samson. Still probably the most "poetic" lyric I've written, and initially it was even more so, but I mangled it some so the verses would have a little more internal rhyme at the expense of metrical consistency.
The coda's something I noodled up while working in the key of the main part of the song and liked too much to let it go to waste.
