I'll Be Seeing Her Tonight

From my new record "Innocent Explanations" - a really fun acoustic guitar riff made all the more fun by the fact that I got to record it on a 1963 Martin D-18...

A bizarre-o disco-ey bridge tacked on to a pop-ish country-ish tune with lyrics inspired by Andy Partridge. A great Hammond B3 performance and a surprisingly tricky (totally composed) guitar solo.

I clicked play on the main page and came here to comment and was freaked out as the music was playing but the player here wasn't!

"a really fun acoustic guitar riff","pop-ish country-ish" - absolutely.

great track, great fun, and yet another great mefi vocalist.

Thanks! I have to confess that for me this song sits directly on the line between shamelessly, unapologetically fun and, well, treacle. But then we all have inner editors, don't we?
