I Don't Want to Say Goodbye

Next installment from my record "Innocent Explanations". Written after seeing Paul McCartney at the Garden, where I sat next to Lenny Kravitz. It was late at night, so I had to play quietly as I was writing - hence the acoustic guitar. I hoped to achieve a kind of acoustic-New Wave sound.

From my new record "Innocent Explanations". Inspired by Nirvana, Steely Dan, Stewart Copeland, the Who, and the desire to be freed from any kind of self-conciousness whatsoever. The acoustic guitar is a gorgeous 1963 Martin D-18!
