Turn off the lights, hit record and just play.
With apologies to Keith Jarrett.

I heartily encourage you to do more late-night recording sessions. That was beautiful.
The bit from 0:42 to 1:13 is just unbearably gorgeous; it feels like it could develop into a magnificent piece.

I have just finsished a killer backbreaking shift at work, stayed for and extra hour and a quarter and am knackered.
I am so glad I listened to this now. I laughed. Honestly, I don't know whay it is, but sometimes when I listen to something real good, it makes me laugh. Anyone else get this? Or am I a freak?
So thanks for making me laugh. The bit between about 0.15 to about 3.45 was gorgeous and magnificent all by itself. Nicely recorded too, great sound. How did you do that?

That's really nice to hear, marienbad. It's always rewarding to hear when my music has affected someone in a positive way.
The nice sound is actually from a virtual instrument, believe it or not. It's called Pianoteq, and it's the most realistic and responsive virtual piano I've ever used. It's awesome.
