Request: "I have long wished for a happy, loud, upbeat version of The Beatles 'Michelle.'"
The requester also asked for it to be "jazzy and swinging", but seeing as I have no aptitude for jazz or swing I decided to just make it as loud and rocking as possible with just my bad self and my guitar. Hopefully my drummer and I will be able to do a version later that takes it up a notch.
Although I'm decently happy with my performance and (rudimentary, GarageBand basic preset-y) recording, I think the more interesting part of what I've done here is the reworking of the chords and vocal melody into something a little less ... funereal than the original.
I'm already three days late and I'm on the way out the house right now, but if anyone wants me to post the chords (just basic power chords) let me know and I'll be happy to do it later on in the comments.
