'8 billion pounds is rising from the ground'. A song about the city.

A Sredni Vashtar song, recorded at rehearsal with another guitar thrown into the stew on top.

Sounds good but the vocals are so quiet they might as well not be there! How did you record them?

The guitar layering has worked pretty well though.

Ah, vocals. Drums, guitar 1, bass and vocals were all recorded with the stereo mic on the Zoom H6 and played around with a bit in Reaper, with a second guitar dropped on top (playing exactly the same parts). One day we'll make it to a real studio, but the vocals will stay quite low in the mix.

Another nice one for sure. Really like your guys stuff. Actually I'm jealous. It's the kind of band I'd love to be in. Would you mind if I tried to cover a song for the current MeFi challenge?

We'd be delighted! Thanks for asking - I'm intrigued to find out what it will end up like.
