I can't tell if the ending is intentional or due to a corrupted upload. It certainly wrecks the electronic-frog-pond mood. Perhaps it's a comment on the transitory nature of tranquility in today's modern world.

I like that ending! It does seems like it's going to a be an alien trance for the entire time, though. I feel like people who enjoy the trance part aren't going to like the ending, and people who like dramatic surprises won't need to listen to it again after the first listen. Which is totally fine, if that's what you're going for.
