Cuando Viene El Mal

A song from my new acoustic band Love Monkee, from our set at the His Lai Buddhist Temple last month. Special thanks to drlith, who translated the chorus for me in this AskMe. Video of the last half of the set.

Let me know if you hear any mispronunciation, neither of us actually speak Spanish.

This sounds like a really interesting song but I found it quite difficult to listen to on headphones due to the weird stuff happening with the stereo spread and overactive limiter.

How did you record it? Would it be possible to use a different setup to get a better result?

It was recorded using my video camera from the audience. I used the auto level setting, and the person I gave it to moved around in front of the PA a lot. Sorry, knew the sound quality wasn't great but I wanted post a performance instead of a practice. Another friend took some video using her phone, but I'm not sure if she caught this song. If so maybe the mods can swap it out for me.

I like it! Your pronunciation is pretty good, only the word "ahuyentan" should sound a little different. You can hear it in Google Translate. The y should be harder, like the j in jail.
