Your voice is very reminiscent of Kurt Cobain's. That, the harmonies, and the ambient noise turn what could have been a whiny repetitive downer into something much more intimate.

Yeah, this really works as a whole for me too. Vibes a little Elliott Smith for me, with the mixing and the sense of place about the song.

And honestly I love love love the overloaded ambiguity of the chorus spelling-out bit.
