Work in progress, a classic fiddle rag with some new old time fun. Words and arrangement by Mr. Corwin Bolt, played by the Wingnuts.

Man, I do love a good string band rag! Makes me want to find a new old-time open session.

This is a practice?? Aside from the speaking at the end, it sounds like it could be part of a fun live show that someone taped from the audience.

Which is my way of saying this is a cool performance and I agree with the person at the end: I like the arrangement and think it's pretty good. The fiddle sounds great and I like the little breaks highlighting the bass and percussion.

Great rag feel, everyone's smile comes right through on the recording. The ensemble playing is just tight enough, you need a little rattle in the joints on this stuff to keep it alive, and you nail it.
