A song about alternative histories and intangible futures.

I really like this. It has a kind of Motorama meets Nick Drake kind of vibe. You've got a really compelling vocal tone. The production is also wonderful - the arrangement is well suited to the mood of the song.

Kudos!

I like the arrangement too. To me this has a really strong '80s vibe, which works well here. I've heard it a few times now while listening to the MeMu feed and by the second or third time I was already singing along to the "needles and fiiiiiiire" part. So that's what I'd call an effective chorus.

Oh yeah, I'm hearing an interesting mix of Dire Straits guitars; Gerry Rafferty, Bob Welch & other jangly 70's Yacht Rock arrangements; but also Coldplay and new-wave 80's vocals. Nice job and well-mixed, both sonically and influence-wise.

Excellent weaving of texture with all the guitar parts. Vocals are smoky and gauzy. Pre-chorus builds interest and tension beautifully, chorus has a great lift. Really well built, played and produced.
